Meet the Founder
Stefka Dakeva-Zahariev is the founder of FaceMe Skin Care. She has been an Illinois Board Certified Licensed Esthetician since 2019 and is a ZO® Certified Expert and Specialist.
Before following her passion for aesthetics, Stefka built a successful career in the corporate world, specializing in public accounting and business management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in International Economic Relations and an MBA in Marketing and Management. After nearly 18 years in corporate leadership, she found the courage to pursue what had always inspired her most—not numbers, but people, skin health, and the confidence that comes from feeling comfortable in your own skin.
In 2019, while earning her esthetics license at New Age Spa Institute, Stefka co-founded Faces Skin Care. After later parting ways with her business partner, she continued her vision independently by establishing FaceMe Skin Care—a practice built on science, integrity, education, and genuine client relationships.
Stefka’s own skincare journey began in 1997, giving her firsthand experience as a client long before becoming a professional. That experience shaped her philosophy: exceptional esthetics is about far more than performing treatments. It requires trust, compassion, honesty, persistence, and a genuine commitment to educating every client.
She believes that healthy skin is not achieved through occasional facials alone. Lasting skin health and graceful aging are the result of consistency, personalized treatment plans, scientifically proven skincare, and a strong partnership between the esthetician and the client. The most transformative results happen when both are equally committed to the journey.

Meet Teresa
Teresa has been an Illinois Board Certified Licensed Esthetician since 2010 after graduating from Estelle Skin Care and Spa Institute. She is also a ZO® Certified Expert and Specialist, as well as a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Laser Technician. Her extensive education, advanced certifications, and commitment to continuous learning allow her to deliver exceptional, science-based skincare tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Beyond her professional credentials, Teresa is known for her genuine compassion and heartfelt dedication to helping others. Her warmth, empathy, and ability to truly connect with people make her a rare gem in the aesthetic industry.
Teresa’s passion for skincare is deeply personal. Nearly 20 years ago, while in her twenties, she struggled with severe cystic acne. The care and guidance she received from an esthetician and physician not only transformed her skin but also restored her confidence and changed the course of her life. That experience inspired her to pursue a career where she could make the same life-changing impact on others.
Today, Teresa combines a therapeutic, personalized approach with the advanced science of ZO® Skin Health to help clients achieve healthy, resilient, and beautiful skin. She believes that every treatment is more than a facial—it’s an opportunity to educate, empower, and guide each client on a lifelong journey toward skin health and confidence.
